Selling to Vintology
Yes, Vintology is interested in buying the following items listed below. Prices we pay depend on a number of factors including demand, availability, interest level, and condition. We pay cash but usually offer 20% more if interested in store credit.
Books, Music, Videos
Books, music and videos are our specialty. Bring in your large collections or just a bag and we'll dig right in. Most small collections can be sorted through within minutes, but larger collections may take hours. Prices we offer will be determined by: author/artist, titles, original/reprint, condition, demand and availability. We inspect each item carefully, as some items can be rare but many are very common. The prices we offer will reflect this.
Other Vintage Items
We are mostly looking for vintage decor items such as:
Eye-catching (vintage) artwork pieces, old clocks, statues, lamps, comic books, old magazines, postcards, old photographs, vintage printed art, action figures, toys, antique or unique frames and similar displayable items. We typically will not deal in larger items such as furniture, but call ahead to confirm, as we may make an exception.
Home Audio
We are interested in buying, selling, trading and repairing the following home audio gear: (Note that we are also interested in buying broken audio gear for their parts value or to repair in-house.)
Audio Components: Turntables and record players, stereo receivers, amplifiers, CD players, brand name speakers, Walkmans, Discmans, cassette decks, old radios, cables, etc.
Audio Parts: We have a huge inventory of parts for repairing the above items: needles (stylus), tonearms, headshells, belts, phono cartridges, audio vacuum tubes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, knobs, switches and so on.
Audio Repair Service: We also have a rather fast turnaround time. $30 down buys you the first half hour of service. Some items are easier to repair and are done in that half hour while others need more work and are billed at $60 per hour (plus parts cost if needed).
